Key Program Information:

Wednesday, September 3rd, 10 AM - 12 PM

Expedition Mars Mission (5th - 9th grade)

*To participate in Expedition Mars Mission, students must be in 5TH GRADE OR ABOVE ONLY
*For the first time, parents/guardians are welcome to purchase a pass to participate in the mission with student
*No siblings in grades below 5th grade will be allowed into mission spaces
*Challenger Learning Center of NWI does not have a designated waiting area or cafe, so adults will not be permitted inside the building during mission unless they have a ticket for the program
*No adults will be permitted without student in the program

Thursday, September 4th, 2025

Constellation Chasers (K - 2nd grade) - 10 AM - 11:30 AM
LEGO Code Makers (3rd - 5th grade) - 10 AM - 12 PM

*Programs are designed specifically for grades listed, so students must fall into outlined grades (K-2nd or 3rd-5th), no exceptions
*Adults and siblings will not be admitted into programming, but can wait on-site ONLY if they have purchased a Standby Pass (information below)
*Galaxy Gift Shop will be open at 11:30 AM and at 12 PM
*Constellation Chasers includes time in Planetarium, which may trigger seizures or headaches in photosensitive individuals

Friday, September 5th, 2025

Crime Scene Science (1st - 3rd grade) - 10 AM - 12 PM
Astronaut Training (4th - 6th grade) - 10 AM - 12 PM

*Programs are designed specifically for grades listed, so students must fall into outlined grades (1st-3rd or 4th-6th), no exceptions
*Adults and siblings will not be admitted into programming, but can wait on-site ONLY if they have purchased a Standby Pass (information below)
*Galaxy Gift Shop will be open at 12 PM
*Astronaut Training includes time in Planetarium, which may trigger seizures or headaches in photosensitive individuals.

NEW FOR 2025! Standby Pass (Thursday & Friday ONLY)

*This pass is for parents/adults who plan to accompany children onsite during programming. It is also for siblings (3+) that will be waiting onsite in the care of parent/adults
*This pass DOES NOT allow entrance into student's program, but DOES provide access to planetarium and calming waiting space with water & coloring materials while student is in program
*Standby pass holders will be treated to planetarium shows while waiting, time permitting
*Planetarium programming may trigger seizures or headaches in photosensitive individuals


*Important Info to Know Before You Go:

  • Download our General Waiver & Media Release to fill out for your student(s) to participate in program.
  • Challenger NWI opens doors at least 15 minutes before the program begins
  • Pick up is promptly at the conclusion of the program   
  • The Galaxy Gift Shop will be open after the conclusion of each program 
  • Challenger Learning Center facilities do not include: a cafe, a waiting room, an indoor sitting area.  If accompanying adults did not purchase a standby pass, they will be asked to wait outside or in their vehicles until end of program
  • Refunds will not be given for no shows, cancellations, or leaving a program early.
