Challenger NWI's Response to COVID-19

UPDATE: MAY 27TH, 2020

CHALLENGER NWI CLOSED TO HELP CONTAIN THE SPREAD OF COVID-19

Effective Monday, March 16, 2020, the Challenger Learning Center of Northwest Indiana is closed until further notice.

All community events, mobile education programs and school field trips are postponed at this time.

·      If your school, organization or business was scheduled to visit Challenger or receive educational programming during our temporary closure, feel free to call our office at (219) 989-3250 for information concerning your reservation.

·      If you purchased tickets to Challenger’s Laser Retro Show or Spring Break Pop-Up events, you will receive an email with information about rescheduled dates once our Center is back to our normal business operations.

We feel this decision is in the best interest of our community, guests, colleagues and volunteers and is in line with our regional leaders’ efforts to curtail the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19). We will continue to monitor the situation and follow guidance from our local public health authorities. Please continue to check back on our website and social media for updates on Center operations.

An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present.  COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death.  According to the CDC, senior citizens and guests with underlying medical conditions are especially vulnerable.  By visiting the Challenger Learning Center of Northwest Indiana, you voluntarily assume all risks for yourself and your party related to exposure to COVID-19.

Help keep each other healthy.

We look forward to the day when we can safely welcome you back to Challenger Learning Center of Northwest Indiana.
