Challenger Learning Center day camps are the perfect way to spend summer vacations. Train as the astronauts do during a variety of sessions that are stimulating and age-appropriate. 1st AND 2nd GRADE HALF-DAY CAMP (for students just completing grades 1-2)
The Challenger Learning Center invites you to train as an astronaut for an exciting three-hour micro-mission. In addition to the micro-mission, astronauts will have fun participating in hands-on, pre-mission activities that focus on primary science skills.

June 19th, 20th or 21st with 2 sessions available each day: 8:30-11:30AM or 12:30-3:30PM

PRICE: $30 Per Student Per 1/2-day session


3rd AND 4TH GRADE THREE-DAY CAMP (for students just completing grades 3- 4)
Become an astronaut candidate and train for a mission aboard the International Space Station! Third and fourth grade campers will work in teams to investigate space food, space suits and space work. Campers’ training includes learning about the solar system in our planetarium and practicing in our mission control and space station simulators for a day to become real astronauts.

June25-27th from 8:30AM-3:30PM

ADVENTURE DAY CAMP (for students just completing grades 3- 6)
Come and enjoy one or more of our popular one-day camps at the Challenger Learning Center and immerse yourself in science content with a fun twist! Camp runs from 9:00AM - 3:00PM daily.

SPACE ADVENTURE - FOUR-DAY CAMP (for students just completing grades 5- 6)
Spend four days at the CLCNWI and gain insight into how NASA prepares for an upcoming mission. You and fellow camp crew members will become astronauts and mission controllers that will train to qualify for a position on the Communication, Space Weather, Navigation, Medical, Probe, Remote, Life Support or Isolation teams. Activities include planetarium shows and hands-on science that focus on using problem solving, teamwork and critical thinking skills during various simulated missions.

July 9th - 12th from 8:30AM-3:30PM

PRICE: $200 Per Student


SPACE ADVENTURE - FOUR-DAY CAMP (for students just completing grades 7- 8 (EXCEPTION: 6th graders may attend this camp if they attended the 5th-6th grade camp in Summer 2011)
This camp’s activities focus on what NASA's scientists are focusing on: launching rockets and exploring the solar system. Students will investigate the history of space exploration in an effort to prepare for their mission to Voyage to Mars. Team building activities also include participating in the e-Mission: Operation Montserrat.

July 16th -19th from 8:30AM-3:30PM
